passion for propagating health and wellness and so it was yoga’s balance
between mind and body that drew her into a regular yoga practice. After
finishing her degree in psychology and French, she completed Global
Yoga’s teacher training program and founded Apex Yoga Inc.
www.apexyogainternational.com. Kat's teaching style includes detailed
instructions on correct alignment and techniques on being mindful of the
breath. She currently teaches Hatha, Vinyasa, Prenatal and Mommy and
Baby yoga.
An
avid runner, Kat has a knack for working with athletes and runners. Her
specialties include instructing unique populations such as pregnant
women, athletes, persons with physical disabilities (paralysis,
amputations, etc.), mental illness and developmental disabilities. Kat
is also the Business Development Manager at Neumann Family Services and
appreciates the benefits yoga can bring to the business world. Utilizing
yoga and meditation techniques that help focus the mind and breathing,
Kat has assisted professions with their public speaking skills and
general concentration on tasks. She strives to challenge her students at
their own level and encourages them to work around obstacles that may
be blocking their advancement. Kat is available to teach private and
